5K Celebration

Confidence through
Accomplishment

Each season comes to an end with a celebratory 5K. This closing event gives program participants of all abilities a tangible sense of accomplishment. Crossing the finish line instills confidence through completion and is a joyful moment program participants always remember! Everyone in our program receives a commemorative medal to celebrate this incredible achievement.

Location

The race starts on Oak Street, south of St. Mary’s Road, runs through campus, and finishes on the 50-yard line of Memorial Stadium. The 5K is part of the Christie Clinic 2024 Illinois Race Weekend. Please visit 5K - Illinois Marathon for more information.

Time

Friday, April 26, 7:30 p.m. GOTR girls and their running buddies should arrive by 7:00 p.m.

Price

GOTR girls do not have to register for the 5K! Each GOTR can have one running buddy run with her for FREE!! Please contact Robin Maier at robin.maier@girlsontherun.org for more information.

NOTE: Program participants and coaches have already been registered for the 5K and DO NOT need to register.
